Established music wholeseller seeks one or two college students with a keen interest in music, basic computer skills, and availability during all of the following hours:
Fri: 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Sat: 10:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Sun: 12:00pm noon – 7:30 p.m.
Total: 22 hours
You have to work all 22 hours listed above, i.e. you can not choose from these hours.
We are a fun company with a proven eight-year track record. Our loft-like offices are located in Long Island City near Queens Plaza, P.S.1, Water Taxi Beach, and the Silvercup Studios. We are close to many major subway lines.
Tasks:
Listing and sorting of inventory (CDs and DVDs)
Answering phones and answering inquiries (NO cold calls; NO commission calls)
Online marketing by e-mail, blogging, Twitter, and Facebook
Start date:
Two positions available immediately
Requirements:
Native English speaker and/or excellent command of the English language
Good phone skills
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
A keen interest in music and movies
Good work ethic
Reliability, punctuality,
Soc. Sec Card + matching photo ID
Permission to work in the United States
Compensation:
$7.50/hr to start
Dress code: casual
Location:
